This notice describes the HangulHada website and Android beta app, operated by 하대환. Updated 22 September 2026.
What is saved
We save lesson identifiers, the section you last used, your selected review answers, most recently checked answers, missed question numbers, best review scores, completion status, review intervals, next review dates and update times. Guest records are linked to a random browser cookie. This is not a name or email address, but it still identifies your guest learning record.
No account required during beta
All current lessons, practice tools and learning-data controls work without signing in. ChatGPT sync is paused. The learning service uses a random guest identifier and does not use account headers to look up or save beta progress. Previously synced account records remain separate and are not merged into guest records. No new account or cross-device sync is offered during beta.
Your voice
The microphone is used only when you choose Record and grant permission. Practice recordings remain in the current page’s memory and are not uploaded by HangulHada. Leaving the page or replacing the recording removes that recording from the page. Listening uses your browser or operating system’s speech service for the language you are learning; some voices use a network service governed by that provider.
Practice room
Freehand drawings, card positions and matched-block counts stay in this page’s memory. They are not uploaded or added to your saved learning record. Changing a writing target clears its drawing; leaving the page clears the practice round. Lesson reviews continue to use the saved progress system described above.
Storage and service providers
The site runs on OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare hosting infrastructure. Progress is held in the site’s server database. Hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as network requests. The service loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives the network requests needed to deliver them. HangulHada does not use an analytics service. Google advertising and consent services are described below. Data may be processed outside your country.
Advertising and cookie choices
HangulHada is free to use. Google AdSense is configured to display one advertisement between course introductions and lesson lists on hangulhada.com, subject to Google approval and ad availability. The language chooser, lessons, quizzes, voice recording, practice and progress pages do not load our advertising integration. We do not require an ad click or video view to study.
On course-list pages and this privacy page, Google’s advertising and consent services may receive your IP address, browser and device information, page URL and advertising interactions. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention, depending on your choices and applicable regional requirements. Ads may be personalized, non-personalized or limited. We do not send your learning records, account identifier, quiz answers or practice recordings as advertising parameters. Advertising providers have their own retention practices; deleting learning records does not erase their cookies or records.
For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent message provides Consent, Do not consent and Manage options. Use the control below to revisit available Google consent choices. Availability depends on your region and browser. Blocking advertising does not block learning. You can also remove cookies using your browser controls; removing the separate learning cookie affects guest-progress access.
Google privacy choices require an internet connection and available Google services on hangulhada.com.

Your choices
You can download your saved learning records from My progress. Your language and course choice and a selected speech voice are stored only in this browser. Country cards suggest a language and do not detect your location. Advertising providers may infer an approximate location from your IP address as described above. Public lesson files are cached on the device for offline reading; personalized API responses are not cached by our service worker.
Retention and deletion
Learning records remain until you delete them. Use the deletion page in the browser whose guest records you want to delete, while you still have its guest cookie. Clearing guest cookies removes your access key but does not itself delete the server record, so delete learning data first if you want it removed. Deleting HangulHada records does not delete your ChatGPT account. Our deletion control removes active learning records from this site’s database; hosting-provider logs and backups follow those providers’ retention practices.
Manage or delete learning data
Previously synced records and contact
Previously synced records are preserved while account sync is paused. To request access or deletion of those records, contact ll146987@gmail.com. We will verify ownership before acting; never send your password. Deleting guest data does not delete these separate records.
Current beta
No purchases, subscriptions, public profiles or in-app user messaging are offered. This notice covers the website and Android beta app and will be updated before new account providers, payments or analytics are introduced.
